We recently purchased (and received some from my brother) a bunch of used skateboard decks.  Some are in great shape, and those are the ones we’re using to make dog dish stands (we’ve got some ideas for the more well-used ones).

We went through a lot of ideas for the legs, and eventually came up with a trapezoid shape – hand-welded out of steel by our Canadian friend Brad Sega from Sega Steel Works.  He did an amazing job on the legs, and to me, they are the coolest part of the design!
